Yarnton Scout Group was formed more than 50 years ago (see our history page)

We provide Scouting to Young people aged from 6-25 in 5 sections. The Group is responsible for running Beavers, Cubs & Scouts, whilst Falcon Explorers & Notnray Network meet at our HQ but are run by Oxford Spires District.

Meetings are held at our HQ in Merton Way Find Us >>>

Every year we aim to:
•Give Every member at least one camp both indoor and outdoor
•Provide an active challenging weekly programme
•Attend Remembrance service and St George’s day Parade
•Take part in District Activities

Section Meeting Times

All sections meet regularly during term time at our HQ
in Yarnton unless advised otherwise.
Beavers meet on Wednesday
Cubs meet on Monday
Scouts meet on Friday
Explorers & Network meet on Monday
We don’t as a rule meet during School Holidays.

Whats on

There’s always a lot going on at Yarnton and across Oxford Spires District as a whole, from meetings for young people every week day to camps, activities and adventures at weekends!

These can be a Beaver’s first night away from home up to a Scout cooking their first meal on a fire or an Explorer racing a pedalcar for 24 Hrs!
