We are going to try and put together some online sessions or work from home packs to keep Scouting going in these difficult times. Scouting Suspended Until Further Notice

Covid-19 Coronavirus update 16th March

The Prime Minister has said that everyone in the UK should now avoid non-essential travel and contact with others.

Suspension of face-to-face activities

Given this guidance, Scout HQ & District have said that all face-to-face Scout meetings, activities and events including camps must be suspended from Tuesday, 17 March 2020. This suspension applies to young people and adults, and will be until further notice.

We will continue to follow official guidance; the safety of everyone involved in Scouts, both young people and adults, is our number one priority. That is always …

Please help, donate a Prize for the Tombola Stall

Yarnton Scout Group will again be hosting a stall at the Kidlington Christmas Light ‘switch on’ Thursday 28th November 5.00pm onwards

We are
asking each Beaver, Cub, Scout, and Explorer to donate a prize – of anything – for
our Tombola Stall (proceeds for the Yarnton Scout Group).  Please bring your donation to your next
meeting.   Better still, buy a BOGOF and bring two!

Please bring to the hut by Monday 25th November

New Group Neckerchief Badge

We now have taken delivery of the new Yarnton badge. Please note the badge should be sewn on the point of the new necker, leaving 1cm of yellow showing. We also recommend you write the owner’s name on the necker behind the badge.
