Adult Volunteers

We all always happy to welcome new adult volunteers to our group and because you are a volunteer, we will try to work around your availability. If you’re free for 2 hours a week or only for 2 hours a month – you’ll always sound great to us!

It is common for our sections to have waiting lists because we have to limit our youth members due to lack of leaders. You don’t need to have any experience at all to join us but we believe that everybody has a talent or skill that they can share with our next generation.

But of course! – we are not just looking for leaders!

You can also help us out by becoming a;

  • Charity Trustee – To help make the decisions which run such a fantastic group.
  • Instructor – To be able to teach all of our young people many skills from archery to reading maps.
  • Fundraiser – Be part of the fundraising committee to raise funds for our hut development and the running of the group.

Whichever role you choose, the Scout Association offer lots of training, which we hope will not only develop you as a member of the Scouting family but also develop you personally.

Don’t forget – being part of Scouting looks great of your CV!

If you would like to help please contact us using the form below or call in at any section meeting and speak to a Leader
